Purpose
The Research
Statistics and Analysis Group gathers, analyzes and disseminates
a variety of quantitative information for helping promote, build
and achieve success in academic scholarship on the Norman and
Tulsa Campuses.
Goals
To provide
reliable quantitative data, and interpretive analyses, for use
in institutional strategic planning
To create and
disseminate information relevant to external stakeholders
To establish and
track metrics for success that are linked to measurable, meaningful
impacts
Responsibilities
Maintain
a modern, comprehensive data base of information on proposals,
awards and related items
Produce a comprehensive
array of relevant, understandable statistical products and associated
analyses
Develop a repository
of frequently requested information, along with a set of quick-reference
facts having broad applicability
Maintain an effective
web site for disseminating information
Fulfill requests
for special information in a timely manner
Work closely with
other organizations, internally and externally, to avoid duplication and maximize value
