Centers and Double Sponsored Research Incentive (Double SRI)


   
An institute/center is a single or multi-disciplinary unit organized to conduct education, research, and/or service activities. To be recognized as a center, a program plan must be approved by the appropriate dean (if applicable), the Provost, the Vice President for Research, Deans' Council, the Budget Office, and the President of the University. After the President approves the establishment of the insititute/center, a report will be provided to the Board of Regents.

DOUBLE SPONSORED RESEARCH INCENTIVE (DSRI)
PROGRAM FOR RECOGNIZED CENTERS:

To receive the Double Sponsored Research Incentive (DSRI) allocation, the proposal must meet basic criteria:

The principal investigator requesting double SRI is responsible for completing a double SRI form and forwarding it to Proposal Services for attachment to the "pink sheet" routing approval form.
