| Our Purpose
To provide support and guidance for any area in research
which needs to determine the appropriate rate to charge
for services to both internal and external customers.
To facilitate in establishing recharge centers, stores,
and departmental units at the university.
Our Goals
To operate as a customer service oriented unit which supports
and facilitates the research PI’s and support staff.
Our Responsibilities
- Overseeing the formation of service centers and the
establishment of their accounts.
- Performing an annual review and approval of rates
for the selection of service Centers.
- Reviewing the performance of selected service centers
annually with respect to break-even at midyear and at
fiscal year end.
- Periodic review of financial status of service centers
with respect to budget vs. actual expenditures.
- Approving service center requests for rate changes
during the year.
