The University of Oklahoma has contracted with Community
of Science (COS) to provide a web-based expertise system
for tenured/tenure-track faculty members and staff on permanent
appointment. The OU Expertise System is available to all
COS member institutions and corporate subscribers to track
current research and scholarly activities and to find potential
collaborators and peer reviewers. This database is also
available to all .edu and equivalent domains internationally
to facilitate collaboration and peer networking.
Search the OU
Expertise System To
Add
Your Profile: Before adding your profile, please check
the OU
Expertise System to see if your profile is already in
the database. Many faculty members were added when Research
Information Services uploaded their Faculty Interest File
profiles to the new database. If your profile is in the
database, you will need to update, not add.
To Update
Your Profile: You will need your Username and Password
to login and update your profile. If you need your Username
and/or Password, please e-mail Tena
Smith. Please contact Tena by e-mail or in person only
(for security reasons) to obtain your Username and Password.
Non-participating members: You may find
information about specific OU faculty research interests
by sending an e-mail message to
Tena Smith , OU's Community of Science liaison.
