Our Purpose

To review, negotiate, and accept all contractual agreements and subcontracts related to sponsored programs research

Our Goals

• To ensure that projects have the approvals needed from the appropriate compliance offices
• To ensure that members of the University staff and faculty having external funding administered by the University follow the appropriate procedures of the University
• To provide faculty and departments with quality service to ensure compliance within the University polices and guidelines

Our Responsibilities

• Negotiate the award agreement within the guidelines of the University as a public institution of the State of Oklahoma
• Accept and fully execute an agreement by obtaining the appropriate signatures: it must be signed by an authorized agent for the sponsor and by an authorized agent of the University. The individuals authorized to bind the University are Dr. Kelvin Droegemeier, Vice President for Research, Andrea Deaton, Executive Director for the Office of Research Services, Jennie Parker, Assistant Director of Research Services, and Suzanne Burgess, Assistant Director of Research Services
