Information Services

Information Services provides a wide spectrum of information to OU faculty, staff and students on behalf of the Vice President for Research and the Office of Research Services. Using a variety of sources, information is disseminated through the RIS e-mail distribution system and the OU IT Mass e-mail regarding state, federal and foundation funding opportunities. Policy and procedural information important to the research community is also distributed in this way.

In addition, Information Services organizes a variety of workshops and seminars presented by the Vice President and by the Executive Director and staff members of the Office of Research Services. RIS also provides logistical support and publicity for other offices, such as the State EPSCoR office, human subjects oversight, and the English Assessment Program.
