| Our Purpose
The Award
Administration is responsible for review, negotiation,
and acceptance of all contractual agreements and subcontracts
on sponsored programs.
We also ensure that projects have the approvals needed from
the appropriate compliance offices. If members of the
University staff and faculty have external funding administered
by the University, the staff or faculty member must follow
the appropriate procedures of the University
In order for an award agreement
to be accepted and fully executed, it must be signed by
an authorized agent for the sponsor and by an authorized
agent of the University. The individuals authorized to
bind the University are Dr.
T. H. Lee Williams, Vice President for Research and
Dean Graduate of the College, Dr.
Susan Wyatt Sedwick, Associate Vice President for
Research and Executive Director for the Office of Research
Services, and Andrea
Deaton, Assistant Director of Research Services.
Our goals are to provide faculty and departments with
quality service to ensure compliance within the University
policies and guidelines. |
